Really great fish tacos- the grilled mahi especially. Get the flour tortilla. It's also right next to the beach. Hippie vibes at this beach, in Ocean Beach, on Newport Avenue. The first scene of Almost Famous was filmed on this street/ in this neighborhood.

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park

Most beautiful spot to see a sunset or go for a walk. Not touristy, either. You'll see a lot of surfers and VW Vans.

Modern Times Beer

Some Desmone's favorite beers come from here.

MOSAIC Yoga

Just a nice yoga studio.

Iron Mountain Trail Head

This hike is a good one- pretty challenging for a day hike. It will take you about 2-4 hours. A bit inland- go early otherwise it may get hot.

A beautiful place to run or walk- tons of museums and the Prado is a great place to have a drink at night, after browsing the museums. MOPA (Museum of Photographic Arts) is Jamie's favorite. Right next to the SD Zoo.
