The Cheney Place is an old antique furniture warehouse, so it's a bit eclectic, colorful, and charming. The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail - wear what makes you feel dressed up & comfortable!
The ceremony starts at 4pm, so please plan on arriving closer to 3:45pm.
We just moved to Maryland, but we have lived in Michigan (between Marquette and East Lansing) for the last 9 years. Cole's family is also in Michigan, and Jamie's is in Minnesota. Between the three states, Michigan seems the most central for the most people. Grand Rapids is also easy to travel to, with its own airport and good sightseeing.
Cocktail hour will have some assorted snacks. Dinner will be buffet style, with a salad bar, pasta bar, and slider bar.
Check out the "travel" tab for our hotel blocks! If you're flying, we recommend coming in to Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR).
Yes! There should be plenty of parking in the lot behind the building. The Cheney Place is in a warehouse district, so there is plenty of street parking nearby too.
