They started talking on a dating site, after about a week cody insisted on coming to jamies house to cook her dinner, no matter how many excuses she had he persisted. He brought carne asada, as soon as jamie saw him she knew she was in for it, the chemistry was magical. Cody told jamie that she loved him already, she rolled her eyes at that she did not give in that easily. 2 weeks later jamie asked cody to be her boyfriend and they started dating, cody lived in taft and jamie in bakersfield they spent almost every weekend together until it was just not enough time together. 6 months into dating they moved in together, thanksgiving day 2013. Feburary of 2014 they went on there very first real date they traveled to santa clarita and they went to claim jumpers, this has become a tradition now years later every feburary they make the trip to have another date. They built a life together and became a family. On feburary 7th 2019 cody proposed to jamie.
