We met as any two romantic people meet these days... online. Brian was captivated by Jamie's "intense eyes" and hunting ability. Jamie was intrigued by Brian's love for his family and his passion for the outdoors. Their first date was an attempt to walk the Stillwater bridge loop, but the intense winter wind put and end to that. But it allowed them time to get coffee and get to know each other, where they both knew a connection was forming. Who would have thought that two swipes right would lead us here??
Brian planned the perfect location for the proposal- the lighthouse at Jamie's parents' house. The only snag was Jamie's work schedule (which can never be fully trusted). There was somebody looking out for us that day, as FedEx delivered her package for work exceptionally early and Jamie was able to head home from Wisconsin sooner than she planned. From there the race was on.....to her parents' house (not that Jamie knew). Brian won and arrived first, with a little time to spare to get to the hiding place. A little lie from dad is all it took for Jamie to walk out to the lighthouse, completely unaware. Brian came out from behind the lighthouse and stopped her in her tracks. It was absolutely perfect and beautifully planned. Many thanks to Hilary and Jessica for capturing our special moment and to our families for celebrating with us that night! We can't wait for the rest of you to join in our celebration of this next chapter in our lives!
