I met Jamie when I was a senior in high school and he was working at Mike's Woodworking. One of my friends was dating his and before I knew it he started showing up to Bethlehem volleyball games to be a supportive friend. Our first conversation occurred on Twitter in August of 2014 simply asking "how is volleyball going?". My friends always poked fun with me because Jamie told them jokingly that he would marry me one day. By January and a shift from volleyball season to basketball season Jamie was still showing up to each game. Between getting approval from my childhood friends and cousin Breann all who graduated with Jamie and several fun weekends as a big group of care -free kids, it was safe to say we hit it off. He asked me to be his girlfriend in February of 2014 and we have been together ever since.
Many moons ago I was watching Olivia play volleyball in a tournament in Elizabethtown. I can say it was love at first sight. I told her friend Hannah I was going to marry her someday. After many volleyball and basketball games later, one night we were riding around with some friends in a jeep. I asked my friend, Kaleb to stop the jeep so I could use the restroom. When I got back in I weaseled my way beside Olivia. We hit it off and with a lot of work and effort she finally gave in and became my girlfriend. The rest is history.
