We met at Ty's nightclub in Pretoria, Jamie-Leigh was celebrating her 21st birthday and Trent took the opportunity to say hello and happy birthday. After that there were dates at the movies and adventure golf and the rest is history, we have been in love since then

We have been extremely lucky in that we met each other fairly young and have been able to grow with each other moving through different phases of our early adulthood. We finished university, began working in Johannesburg, created many memories with friends and families, traveled to far away places, survived a pandemic and then decided to start a new adventure in the UK.

We currently live in the UK, having just bought our first house in Redhill, Surrey. In March 2023 our family grew from 2 to 3, with the addition of Freya our dog. She is a cocker spaniel and honestly is treated like a human child.
