Joey and Jamie met on match.com, when she answered his message. From there, while Jamie was in Alabama spending the christmas holidays and celebrating the birth of her niece she and Joey would text all day learning about each other. When they finally got to meet in person, Jamie knew Joey was not like any guy she had ever met before. Well one date turned into two, and on the third date Joey asked Jamie to be his girlfriend with a bet he came up with playing miniature golf! In such a short amount of time, Joey and Jamie have experienced so many memories together, from family vacations, to Nascar and Disney, to even evacuating from a hurricane! But by far, June 30th will become the best memory of all when they get to stand before all of you and say I do!

Joey planned to take Jamie to a nice dinner. She quickly realized when Joey pulled into Ruths Chris Steakhouse, it was going to be a VERY nice dinner. Before heading up, Joey said he wanted to show her how pretty the river looked at night, and took her out to the river walk. Once there, Joey immediately had Jamie face him. He told her that exactly a year ago she answered his message and since then it has been the best year of his life and would she do him the honor of spending the rest of her life with him. Jamie excitedly said yes and started to tear up as Joey put the ring on her finger. When she went to help Joey stand back up she heard cheering from up above! What Jamie did not know, was that both sets of their parents were hiding on the upperdeck overlooking the whole proposal. Now on June 30th, we will get to share our love story with all of our closest family and friends, and we could not be more excited!!
