The Old kennels
Perfect for dog walks or long country strolls, followed by a bite to eat at The Kitchen Garden. You can explore all of Cirencester's Bathurst Park, which is also where our wedding venue is located.
Broadway Village
Our favourite village in the Cotswolds—make sure to stop by The Broadway Hotel for a drink and their incredible afternoon tea in the lovely pub garden, Broadway Deli for amazing local produce, The Lygon Arms for its hotel, spa, and quaint courtyard pub—with a hidden lawn perfect for lawn games, and don’t forget the charming little chocolate shop for a sweet treat. You’ll definitely find us here in the years to come!
Cotswold Lavender
Open from June to August, this beautiful lavender field is just next to Broadway. It’s a stunning place for a wander, a few photos, and to pick up some lavender-themed goodies!
The Fish Hotel
On our first trip to the Cotswolds, we stayed here—and now it’s become a yearly tradition! It’s a great spot whether you're staying with or without dogs, or you could just pop by and visit The Hook restaurant for a meal.
The Hive
One of our favourite things to do is wander around the shops in Stow-on-the-Wold and stop for lunch at The Hive. Make sure you try the rhubarb compote and scone!!
The Porch House
England’s oldest inn, located in Stow-on-the-Wold, it has a stunning conservatory that's perfect for Sunday lunch—just make sure you book ahead!
Daylesford Organic
A stunning farm shop that’s definitely worth a stop, along with their café for an almond croissant and coffee. You can also try the Bamford Spa on-site—just ask Jamie, he’s a big fan of their spa treatments!
The Wild Rabbit
Stunning pub where all the produce is sourced locally from their sister farm at Daylesford. Another spot worth booking ahead— the food is incredible!
Westonbirt, The National Arboretum
This is where we got engaged, and it’s such a special place for us. It’s perfect for a peaceful walk, followed by a coffee in a beautiful setting.
Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens
Oscar and Olive’s favourite spot in the Cotswolds, the Wildlife Park is dog-friendly and the perfect place to bring a picnic and enjoy a stroll around the animals.
Dunkertons Cider Park
A perfect spot to enjoy a cider from their bar, or even a hot drink and pastry. Just across from Dunkertons, there’s a beautiful dog-friendly walk through the forest!
Bakery on the Water
Bourton-on-the-Water is incredibly picturesque, and the bakery is the perfect spot to stop for a delicious pastry!
Maxi’s at Dial House
The teepee tent, tucked behind the Dial House Pub in Bourton-on-the-Water, serves up the best cocktails!
Jolly Nice Farmshop, Cafe & Drive Through
Another farm shop! This one is much less commercial than Daylesford and a hidden gem in the Cotswolds, offering amazing produce at half the price!
Kiftsgate Court Gardens
Three generations of women gardeners have designed, planted, and maintained this stunning garden. While it’s quite steep in areas, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re passing through.
The Cotswold Guy - Farm Shop & Cafe - Guiting Power
The Cotswolds Guy is a great spot to relax with a drink or enjoy some brunch. Don’t miss their famous sausage rolls—David Beckham’s recommendation!
