Answer

The dress code for our wedding is colorful, creative cocktail! We invite you to go bold and wear a color or pattern you wouldn’t normally wear to a formal event. For guests who choose to wear a suit, no tie required. Jazz things up with a patterned suit or a fun shirt under a traditional suit! For guests who choose to wear a dress, try something different! A daring cut, an eccentric pattern, a bold color. Better yet, all three!

Answer

Please arrive by 6pm sharp so you have time to grab a welcome drink and find seats before the ceremony! The Moxy has a lovely lobby bar (Bar Bedford) so you are welcome to arrive early.

Your presence is all we ask for! If you insist, we invite you to make a contribution towards our Honeymoon Fund or Housewarming Fund. Or, make a contribution to a charity or cause of your choice in our name!

While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing evening celebrating with us. Thank you for making arrangements, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We encourage you to arrive right at 8pm! There will be a build-your-own taco bar catered by Los Tacos No. 1 and an open bar all night.

Answer

There is limited street parking on Sand St and Navy St outside of the Navy Yard. The surface lot inside the gates is for Wegmans and they may ticket or tow you! There is a parking garage on your left (Building 303) as you enter the Navy Yard gates, but it is expensive so use this as a last resort!

We are not providing a shuttle for the Welcome Party, so we encourage you to walk, take public transportation, or an Uber/Lyft. The closest subway stops are York St (F) and High St (A/C).

Please note the hotel does note have onsite parking or valet. Near by parking is available off-site at 444 Kent Ave Garage (0.4 Miles from the hotel) for $25/day. Other options in the area include Secure Parking Williamsburg (312 Broadway Garage Brooklyn, NY 11211).

Answer

There will be a coach bus shuttle departing from the New York Marriott - Brooklyn Bridge at 5:30pm sharp. The shuttle will depart the Moxy at 12am to return to the hotel. If you would prefer to take an Uber or Lyft, be mindful that NYC traffic can be horrendous on summer Fridays so leave early! The closest subway stops to the Moxy are Bedford Ave (L) and Marcy Ave (J/M/Z).
