Boise River Greenbelt
The Boise Greenbelt is a beautiful walking/biking path right alongside the Boise River. We love to either rent e-bikes or bring our bikes down and ride along the river! There are plenty of spots to stop along the way and have a drink or grab some food including the Sandbar Patio and Grill, Barbarian Brewing, Telaya winery and my personal favorite Yardarm. There is a spot right near the Boise Greenbelt market where you can watch people surf the river also! The Greenbelt is easy to access from downtown! Type in one of the restaurants above and place on the bike setting. It will lead you right to it! Bike rental spots downtown near the hotel include McU Sports or Idaho Mountain Touring.
Capital City Public Market
This downtown market is open every Saturday from 9:30 am-1:30 pm and is really fun to walk through. There are vendors that sell fresh bread/pastries, other food, seasonings, crafts, clothing, specialty coffees and drinks! It's walkable from both The Renegade and The Sparrow hotel and is in the heart of downtown. Highly recommend!

Lemon Tree Co. Downtown-Boise
This is one of my FAVORITE lunch spots. Everything they have is amazing. Their menu offers a variety of sandwiches and salads. They also have really delicious lemonades including Strawberry Basil, Prickly Pear, Blueberry, Regular, Raspberry Lime, Blackberry. For a more extensive menu, check out their Parkcenter Blvd location!
The Highlander
This bar is on the rooftop of the Renegade hotel! Great views of downtown Boise as well as the foothills in the distance. Really great food and drinks. 10/10 recommend! **Only open Friday** due to an event they are hosting Saturday and Sunday.
Reef
The Reef Rooftop is a fun, beachy atmosphere downtown with great food and the largest, tastiest Moscow mules you’ll ever find! Fun lunch, dinner or cocktail spot!
Pengilly Saloon
This is a fun spot to listen to live music!
