Not really, so please prepare for the weekend as if you will not have cell service, especially for GPS and directions. There will be Wi-Fi available around the lodging and venue once you arrive.
Saturday welcome event: summer cocktail - nice, but comfortable! The festivities are outside on the patio, so bring something warm for when the sun goes down. Sunday wedding: formal. A note on shoes for Sunday: the ceremony is on a hilltop with chairs in the grass, and there's a gentle walk down the hill to the cocktail hour, which is also outside. There are golf carts, but maybe skip the stilettos!
We're not registered — your presence is the gift. If you'd really like to give something, we've listed a few charities on the Registry page that mean something to us.
There will be a card box at the reception if you'd like to bring one, but no expectation either way.
Yes. We will have a bus for guests staying at the hotels. The bus will pick guests up on Sunday afternoon and bring everyone to Gilbertsville Farmhouse, then provide return shuttle service after the reception. Pickup schedule: Courtyard by Marriott: 2:30 PM Holiday Inn Express: 2:45 PM Hampton Inn: 3:00 PM The bus will arrive at Gilbertsville Farmhouse around 3:40/3:45 PM. Return shuttle service will begin at 11:00 PM after the reception.
While we would love to include all munchkins, kids are welcome only if they're explicitly named on your invitation. If you need help arranging childcare in the area, let us know.
We love animals, but unfortunately pets are not allowed at the venue. Service animals are always welcome. Thank you for understanding!
The reception is fully covered indoors. If the weather does not play nice, the ceremony will be tented. All cabins have umbrellas, and we will also have additional umbrellas available for off-site guests.
Of course!! We will probably make an announcement ahead of the ceremony though to limit pictures taken during the ceremony (or at least when Jami walks down the aisle).
We tried to cover everything, but we’re sure we missed something! Please feel free to text Jami or Leart with any questions, big or small. We’re happy to help.
