We met at Good Hope High School. I was a Freshman and he was a Senior so at the time he was not the most thrilled about a Freshman. It wasn’t until 2015 we actually showed real interest in each other and began our journey with the help of some friends. He was so handsome but most importantly he kept me laughing all of the time and was and still is super sweet. It did not take long for me to realize we really had something here and that he was a very special man. We have made so many memories and been on so many journeys.

It was the day before we left for Colorado on our family vacation. We always have family dinners on Sundays but since we were leaving for Colorado the next day we had family lunch. Jessie and Ollie tricked me into going to get my nails done by saying it was for the vacation. The whole way back to his apartment I was talking about how I was ready for him to propose and to get married. Little did I know it was about to happen. We pull up and he planned it so good, there were no cars out front so I literally had no idea! When I walked in most of our closest family members were there and laid out a trail of candles and rose petals in my favorite color (yellow). I instantly started to cry I was so happy and it was so beautiful, he looked so handsome too! It was the easiest yes I have ever had to say!💛💙
