How We Met

Juliana went on a first date to a 4th of July party...with someone else!
There, she met Jamey - and later - his gal.
She continued to date the same guy for a couple of years,
often bumping into Jamey and his girlfriend.
Juliana and her guy broke up and she and Jamey
didn't see each other for 3 years.

A mutual friend, Jane, held a Beer Pong World Cup tournament where every couple came representing a country. Juliana remembered that Jamey was funny and asked him - also single then - to be her partner.
The two decided to represent France. (Ohhhh....foreshadowing.)
Jamey continued to pursue Juliana, but she friend-zoned him. A kind, dependable guy who called when he said he would?
Not her type.
But Jamey's steady friendship, no-pressure tactics, and frequent acts of heroism made Juliana realize she better snag this once-in-a-lifetime guy because there would never be another one like him.
"Just kiss me already!"
