Maid of Honor
Jamie and Katie go way back—to scraped knees, sleepovers, and more inside jokes than they can count. They've been inseparable since they found each other on the Kindergarten playground, and now she's the Maid of Honor (and official keeper of all the stories Katie hopes don't come out on the dance floor). Jamie's one of those life-long best friends, and she made an easy choice for a Maid of Honor.
Best Man
Sam and James became fast friends in high school over marathon board game nights (no sore losers here… well, mostly). Their friendship only grew stronger when they became roommates at Penn State, where they grabbed teas at Cafe 210, enjoyed soft-serve ice cream at the famous Basting tailgates, and lived out Sam's epic saga as the Dungeon Master throughout his over 10-year-long D&D campaign. He’s clearly earned his rightful place as best man.
Bridesmaid
Melissa is Jamie’s older sister! Although Katie didn’t technically have any sisters growing up, you wouldn’t know it. Melissa went out of her way to include her in all of her and Jamie’s shenanigans - and even introduces Katie as one of her sisters.
Groomsman
Friends since grade school, Peter and the James have spent years leveling up in board games, online chats, and “expert” investment advice (with mixed results). Through market swings and dice rolls alike, he’s proven himself a winning pick—and now he’s cashing in on groomsman duties.
Bridesmaid
Alex and Katie met at work while Alex was a NeuroCritical Care APP, and they haven't wasted a minute since! Some of their favorite adventures include checking out the local Lexington food scene, hiking with Alex’s 3 dogs, practicing “goat yoga” (with real goats), watching old Studio Ghibli movies in theaters, and traveling to local Renaissance Festivals.
Groomsman
Cameron first rolled into James's life in high school via board game nights with their overlapping friend groups, and they’ve been shaking up friendship (and bourbon glasses) ever since. These days, their shared love of bourbon keeps the friendship strong—especially fitting now that the groom lives right where the good stuff is made. Their friendship is aging like a fine whiskey—ready to toast at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Morgan may have started out as Katie's co-resident’s wife, but she quickly became a dear friend. When James couldn’t make it to a wedding venue tour, Morgan immediately stepped in as Katie's stand-in partner. She asked all the right questions, shared in the excitement, and made the day just as special. She’s been an incredible help in planning this entire wedding, and Katie is so lucky to have her creativity, support, and friendship by her side as a bridesmaid.
Groomsman
James and Drew met 20+ years ago in Cub Scouts, where Drew eventually soared all the way to Eagle Scout status (while the groom perfected his snack-eating skills at camp). They stuck to each other from grade school to high school, even through all their philosophical debates at the lunch room table. Although they went to different colleges and now live in different states, they’ve kept their friendship strong through video calls and epic board game battles.
Flower Girl
Our youngest bridal party member, Harbour is the daughter of Andi and Marcus Rommelman, one of Katie's co-residents.
Ring Bearer
Katie and James's nephew, an obvious choice for a ring bearer - just look how cute he is!
Officiant
Katie's older brother who "willingly" agreed to officiate the wedding of his dearest sister.
