We first met in a pretty unforgettable way — on a space cowgirl–themed party bus through mutual friends. I was finishing up my senior year at the University of Iowa, and Gavin had already graduated from Kirkwood and was working at Case IH. From the moment I saw him, I thought, “Wow, a tall, cute country boy!” On the bus, I noticed he wasn’t drinking yet, so I offered him a White Claw as an excuse to introduce myself. He politely declined and pulled out his own Busch Light instead. We danced, sang, exchanged numbers, and the rest is history. We officially started dating in June 2022, and since then, we’ve shared lots of adventures. From farming to traveling — trips to Wisconsin, Mexico, and more on the horizon — we love exploring life together. The proposal was just as special and true to us. Gavin popped the question at a spillway in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, during one of our weekend getaways. We’re so excited to celebrate our love with all of you and can’t wait to continue writing this adventure together!
