Growing up as an only child, I feel so blessed to have formed such a strong bond with my parents. As role models, friends, and supporters, they have shaped me into the woman I am today, encouraging me to pursue every avenue. They have instilled a love for life, an optimistic and hopeful approach to every situation, and a commitment to family as utmost importance. Their love has been an inspiration to witness and has inspired my approach to building a life long love with Jameson.

There is not enough time to explain my gratitude for Sam and the numerous memories we've built. Sam and I met during our first year of X (formerly Ryerson) University. Within a week or so of knowing each other we bonded quickly and had given each other the nickname 'M'lady' (a name that has stuck ever since). M'lady and I have bonded over many hilarious situations and heartfelt moments, and I am thankful to have such a supportive friend in my life.

My younger (and only) brother Max and I have watched each other grow and evolve through the years. We've bonded over a love of cottaging, outdoor activities (fishing, water sports, snowmobiling), and shared special family memories. I am very thankful to have him standing by my side on this special day.

I first met Hailey at a musical performance in Gananoque when I was about 9 years old - Hailey sang 'Castle on a Cloud' and I was starstruck! My Dad remembers that after her performance I leaned over to him and said 'I want to be her when I grow up'. Thankfully, Hailey and I became friends and she has continued to be a role model through the years even when living miles apart.

Jeremy has been a friend since high school. We bonded over shared interests in photography, travel, and business - starting our own business together at 18. He has been a pivotal friend in my life and has encouraged me in all of my endeavours. In fact, when I was considering moving to Toronto with Lauren, he encouraged me to take that leap!

Maureen (Mo) moved schools in Grade 11 and I am so very thankful that she did. We met through mutual friends who had mentioned that we would get along well. Having solidified our friendship through a number of musical theatre performances together from high school to community stages, Mo and I have built an amazing friendship that has carried across provinces.

Born in the same hospital room only 2 days apart, Matt and I have been inseparable since birth. Through our years of schooling and beyond, we've bonded over thrill seeking activities and have formed many memories over shared laughs and an excitement for life.

Having met in the first year of X (formerly Ryerson) University, Sarah and I have taken on many roles together. We have completed a number of school projects and courses (hosting 2 radio shows), travelled to visit each other (from New York to Vancouver), and have even cut our hair to have bangs together (a fun choice that was short lived but spontaneous)! Sarah even attended the first official date that Jameson and I planned as a couple - she has truly been there from the very beginning of this relationship.

Meeting James at Rhodes Wellness College in Vancouver, we instantly become the best of friends. With a mutual love for helping others, often conversing about a variety of life experiences on our shared podcast (The Self-Content), James and I have formed a strong bond quite quickly. With plans to expand our businesses together, I am thankful to have him by my side.

Sydney and I have known each other since pre-school when we used to fight over the toy building blocks. We have settled our differences since then, having attended the same elementary school and high school. She has been around for every life stage, always making me laugh and reminding me of the embarrassing moments luckily no one else remembers. When we had to part ways for University, we made sure to call and text frequently. I am grateful to have been able to build our friendship for over 21 years!

When Jay moved to Tavistock in early elementary school, we quickly became the best of friends. Participating in outdoor adventure activities together as well as technology and video games, we've built a lifelong friendship. After spending weekends visiting the Churchwards growing up, his family has become a second home for me.

From singing side by side together to sending monthly letters when we lived across the country, Em has been an important and supportive friend these past few years!
