A Tinder swipe turned into forever. đź’•

Our love story started with a simple swipe on a dating app, but it quickly turned into something truly special. On our very first date, we were both incredibly nervous. Jameson showed up at my door with a big bouquet of flowers, only to be greeted by my stepdad Joshua—who thought it would be funny to open the door shirtless pretending to be me. I rushed in front of him, said hello, and invited Jameson inside. While my mom put the flowers in a vase, Jameson introduced himself to my family. Later, I told him he was the first guy my mom’s dog, Bailey, didn’t bark at—he laughed and said he was so nervous he didn’t even notice her. That first date lasted for hours. We had dinner at a sushi restaurant, then went to his parents’ house to sit in the hot tub, talking endlessly and getting to know each other. Fireworks went off in front of us that night, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. Not long after, we found out we were both moving into the same apartment complex in Logan, which made everything feel even more meant to be. The next school year, we moved in together, and by November 2025 we were casually “just looking” at engagement rings…and immediately picked the first one. From that point on, I talked about getting engaged daily (no exaggeration). After Christmas, I joined Jameson’s family on their annual California trip. While the guys golfed, I drove the cart and repeatedly asked if he brought the ring. He insisted he didn’t—so I dramatically drove away every chance I got. The next day, we were told we were taking family photos. I almost ruined the surprise by asking why the photographer couldn’t just do engagement photos too. Jameson somehow kept his cool. The next morning, I was getting ready and asked Jameson which dress I should wear: a yellow one or the white one I secretly hoped to wear for an engagement. His mom helped choose the white dress since everyone else would be in black and white. I didn’t think twice about it. When I was ready, his mom asked me to ride with her to find a photo spot. After a short detour, we arrived—and there was Jameson, standing alone with a “Will You Marry Me?” sign. I was completely stunned. He told me how much he loved me, how he wanted to spend forever together, and then got down on one knee. Of course, I said yes. What started with a swipe turned into the love of my life—and a forever I can’t wait to share 💖
