Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a block reserved at The Inn of The Mountain Gods. Please make your reservation at least 45 days before the wedding & use “Gonzales Wedding” when booking! **You will have to call to be in the block** The Hampton Inn & Suites Ruidoso Downs is also another great option!

I’m having trouble with the RSVP. What should i do?

Answer

Online systems aren’t perfect. It only allows us to put in 2 adults per household per invitation on this system, please don’t be alarmed when you RSVP if it has (child) next to your name! I promise we have you down! If you’re having trouble, please reach out to 940-390-1205.

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving dinner.

Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

For the reception, we will have a seating chart located at the entrance of the ball room! Please RSVP by April 16th so we can save you a seat!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do", We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are children allowed to attend?

Of course, but please make sure to include them when you RSVP.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes, a cash bar will be available!

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

We will have multiple cash bars available. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises. Please remember to bring your ID, due to venue policies!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal) for our wedding. Please, no t-shirts or flip flops. We ask to avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.

Where are the ceremony & reception taking place?

Answer

All events will take place at The Inn Of The Mountain Gods.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes (fingers crossed)! Please note - the weather in Ruidoso is unpredictable. We recommend to plan accordingly.
