We already knew each other in high school. We both knew each other's names, likes and dislikes, voices, and quirks. We never really thought much of it at the time. We were both in a relationship when we met again after 7 years. He was with his 3 year ex. She was with his best friend. When both of our past relationships collapsed, we instantly knew we could confide in each other. Maybe it was pure destiny, maybe it was out of luck, but we both knew we could be each other's partner in everything we do. But of course, we had to wait until we were both completely healed.
