Tiff was nervous going into the second semester of senior year at PJP. She started a new schedule and she didn’t know if she would know anyone at her lunch. On the first day of second semester, in walks Jimmy. He recognized Tiff after just meeting her a few weeks prior, so he pulled up a chair and started talking to her. All Tiff could think about was how much this guy was making her laugh! After a few weeks of Tiff convincing herself she didn’t have a huge crush on him (she swore off boys until college…), they went on their first date at the Coventry Ice Cream Parlor and Tiff embarrassed herself because she brought chewable Lactaid pills (She’s lactose intolerant AND can’t swallow pills- what a great first impression!) Tiff and Jimmy continued going on dates and eventually made it official! They both ended up going to college in Philadelphia, and made some amazing memories during that time, including many nights at Drinkers Pub, walking to the Eagles parade when they won the Superbowl, and a trip to Nashville for spring break the week before the world shut down due to covid. Post-grad, Tiff and Jimmy moved in together and began to navigate that part of their life together. Putting together furniture, changing the fire alarm batteries at 3 AM, and dealing with all the crazy apartment neighbors. Tiff was getting antsy about getting engaged as a lot of her close friends were, and she would constantly ask Jimmy when it was coming. His response was always, “Don’t worry about it!” One night in the fall of 2024, Tiff had plans that got canceled that she was really looking forward to (all part of Jimmy’s plan…) so Jimmy recommended they go on a picnic at Valley Forge Park. Tiff was excited and put together a cute outfit and did her hair and makeup to take some pics for Instagram. Little did she know, she was going to get engaged! It was a beautiful fall day. Tiff and Jimmy were finishing up some delicious sandwiches from a local deli when Jimmy asked Tiff, “So, are you less stressed about getting engaged?” Tiff was very confused until Jimmy told her to stand up. He got on one knee and of course Tiff said yes!! Or, at least implied yes because she was so excited that couldn’t put together full sentences. They have spent the past year and ½ planning the most incredible wedding day and they can’t wait to share it with you!
