Getting Around Los Angeles

We look forward to celebrate our wedding with you in Los Angeles this June! Here are a few tips for getting around: Getting Here: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) This is the major airport with the most flight options, but there's often heavy traffic. For a less stressful exit out of the airport, the FlyAway shuttle provides transportation from LAX directly to Union Station in Downtown LA for $12.75, where you can connect to other transportation options. Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) A smaller, more convenient option if you can find a suitable flight. It's generally less congested than LAX and closer to many parts of the city. Getting Around: Car Rental There are car rental options at either airport, with shuttles from terminals to the rental offices. Renting a car offers the most flexibility for exploring LA at your own pace. Keep in mind that parking can be challenging and, sometimes, costly. Be prepared for traffic! Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) Ridesharing services are a convenient option for getting to specific locations, especially if you plan on enjoying drinks or don't want to deal with parking. Costs can fluctuate depending on demand and distance. It's a good idea to check estimated fares beforehand. The NALC Hall has a large parking lot. All are welcome to drive to the venue. We encourage using rideshare services for a safer drive home!
