Our love story begins just like any modern one…online. We met on Hinge, and Sam was actually the one who “liked” Jimmy first. After a couple of days of texting, Sam realized she had a busy couple of weeks ahead (what’s new) and that there would only be a few chances to meet in person. Well, that upcoming weekend, Sam had tickets to a country music festival and thought, let’s see if this boy will drive over an hour and spend $100+ on a first date by joining her for one of the nights. After she asked, Jimmy didn’t respond until the next day — he had spent the entire day golfing (again… what’s new) — so Sam waited all night for his reply. When he finally saw the message, he said yes, even though Sam was still a complete stranger and he half-joked that she might be trying to scam him out of money. They spent that August night listening to Lainey Wilson, Jake Owen, and Dan + Shay, making small talk, and sharing a couple of beers — and by the end of it, they both knew there wasn’t much to question. It just felt like forever from the start. After a year of countless drives back and forth between Celina and Dayton, Jimmy finally convinced Sam to embrace small-town living — and Sam convinced Jimmy to become a Taylor Swift fan. Now they share a home and a life together with the best pup in the world, Murphy. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
