Meet the people that will accompany us down the aisle!

Gabriella Hermosi

Maid of Honor

What can I say about me and Gaby? We met in the summer of 2012 while studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Who would have thought that Jordi's class, watching The Dark Knight, and going to a Bon Iver concert would turn into such a sweet friendship. Although we hailed from different parts of the country, she from New Jersey and I from Texas, we kept in contact after we got back stateside. Although we became fast friends, we would not be reunited until January 2015, almost 3 years since that awesome summer in Barcelona! I think we were both a little worried about how we would be able to spend a whole weekend together after so much time apart. Fortunately for us, it was so fun and if no time had passed. We continue to have fantastic Gals on a Buffalo weekends with our other bestie, Audra! So with all of that said, Gaby is my best friend and the only person I could imagine standing next to me on what is going to be one of the best days of my life. Gaby and I have helped each other navigate through the lowest of lows and the highest of highs. Not only have we grown up together but now I get to see her be the best mom to our ring bearer, Elio. Can't wait for you all to hear her rendition of Adele's "Hello” or see her choreographed dance to Bonnie Tyler’s hit single, “ Holding Out for a Hero.”

Audra Kruse

Bridesmaid

Oh, Audrita! One of my longest, sweetest friendships. Audra and I go back to our Brenham Junior High days. Of course, I was the coolest person that she had ever met, who would’ve thought? We were friends in high school but really connected while at TAMU. We shared many memories at the Woodlands apartment and after when we were both trying to find our career paths. I will never forget the moments we found out you were moving to DC. We went to New Orleans on a whim and that’s where you found out you got the job...and spilled wine all over my new phone! Fast forward to May of that year and I found out I passed my certification exams! Audra was there to celebrate me finally becoming a fully certified teacher, whatever that meant! Although we have lived in different parts of the country for years, it makes our reunions, FaceTimes, and GoB texts that much sweeter. Little fun fact: My grandma, Arlene, and Audra’s mom, Babs, would work on crossword puzzles before work at Trinity Med Center….fast forward a few years, and Audra and I would become Skype crossword puzzle friends! Audra, I love that every time I see you it’s as if no time has passed. I can’t wait to see you break it down on the dance floor and celebrate alongside me and James!

Jillian Wilke

Bridesmaid

I’ll let you guys in on a little secret, the first time I met Jillian she said, “we’re going to be great friends” or something along those lines….and I pretty much told her, no. Unbeknownst to me, she would turn into one of my sweetest, most constant friendships. I am not really sure at what point we actually became friends, but I soon found myself excited to wake up at 4am to go to the gym and get to talk about life with Jillian. I have learned so much about life, relationships, and terrible television shows from you, JW! It seems like we’ve been friends our entire lives but it’s only been like 3 weeks! When I need advice, when I need sense knocked into me, when I need to lose an Apple Watch activity competition…she’s always there. She was one of the first people to say that James and I were going to get married, so maybe she’s a wizard!? I can’t wait to spend the best day with one of my best gals by my side!

Jessica Landers

Bridesmaid

Jessica is my soon-to-be sister! I’ve never had a sister but I'm so excited that it's going to be someone as kind and funny as Jessica! Since the moment I met Jessica at James’ birthday dinner, I knew we would get along perfectly. She is an awesome teacher to the littles and an even better mommy to our sweet Cami! I can’t wait to officially join the Taylor clan, even though you and the fam have made me feel a part of it since day one!

Stephanie Koehler

Bridesmaid

Speak up if you see something you like!? Stephanie was one of the first people I met when I was a baby teacher at the Krause Elementary Schoolhouse. Being on the same grade level team gave us the opportunity to work together but her sweet heart, love for kids, impeccable sense of humor, and all around beauty is what allowed us to grow such a strong friendship! She and the rest of the crew have always been there for me in times of joy and in times of sadness and always with steadfast love! I’m so thankful that Stephanie continues to bless me with her tv recs, sweet treats, thoughtful advice, and her two tiny humans (who aren’t so tiny any more). Here’s to many more trips with the girls and Guadalajara evenings!

Nikki Phillips

Bridesmaid

There are so many things I can say about Nikki, but the first one that comes to mind is that she is my school mom forever!! Nikki was also one of the first people I met while at KES. She and Stephanie took me under their wing and taught me how to navigate being a 1st-year teacher. If I ever needed anything, Nikki had it…if I ever thought I didn’t need something, Nikki knew better and was there waiting. In the last 8 years, Nikki has been there for me at every stage and is always there to give me hugs (even though she hates them), cook delicious meals and treats, "give it to me straight," tell me she won’t take me to Georgia, and also give the best advice in the whole entire world. I have loved every adventure that we have been on, both big and small. Nikki is also the mother to two of my favorite kiddos, Reesie and Riley!

Kristie Sternadel

Bridesmaid

KB, and I go way back to our junior high days! She is one of my oldest friends and one of my favorite teammates. I’m so happy that we got to reconnect and ended up working at the KES together. Along with Stephanie, Nikki, and Marissa we have had the best friendships and continue to bless each other with witty jokes, funny group texts, and delicious breakfast tacos. I’m so glad that even though we work in different positions we still get to work together and show everyone how we’re the funniest people around. KB, I’m so excited to get to share this special day with you and all of my favorites!

Kassey Wiesepape

Bridesmaid

Kassey and I have many fond memories together. We played soccer together when we were in school and were part of a rockin' awesome team. I really got to know Kassey when I had the opportunity to be a sub coach for Cubette Soccer while she was on maternity leave. Immediately it was as if no time had passed and she and I had known each other 5ever (that means more than forever). Kassey has an impeccable sense of humor, is the MOST creative person I have ever met, and can drive a school bus like no other. We have had so many memories of coaching, having coaching meetings with Boggan, and just being good friends! If she forgets something, we can always blame it on the fact that she just had babies! Although we no longer coach together, we still make time to get together and catch up on life. I’m so excited to celebrate my big day with Kassey by my side!

Marissa Eppler

Bridesmaid

Eppler is one of my favorite friends and I am so happy that we met all those years ago at KES while she student-taught with Nikki and Stephanie. We quickly developed a wonderful friendship, learned so much from the second grade crews, and share many hilarious stories from our time in the classroom! I love hanging out every time she and her family get back from their time abroad. It has been so sweet to see Marissa become a mom to Bryn. Marissa, thank you for being the best substitute teacher, world traveler, and friend! So happy that you get to join us on our special day!

Andy Pritchard

Best Man

My main man. My brother from another mother. Andy Pritchard and I met together in middle school while sharing a Robotics class. I'm not sure that either of us can exactly label what drew us together in that class but bonding over power tools, angry teachers, and talking about girls was certainly a great start. And even though we never shared another class again after that we still managed to remain friends for the rest of our lives. Hell, Andy even moved away for college and even further away for his job but that never stopped us from still hanging out and doing our thang. Rock and stone, brother.

Darren Hulme

Groomsman

Darren "Durn" Hulme was always around when I was in school, always in a tangent orbit to my circle of friends but never really getting to know each other. In fact, I never really got to know him until college when our shared group of friends enjoyed playing games and going out together. This guy can somehow maintain a perfect balance of goofball and hard worker and that's a balance that I've always held in high regard. If you ever do get a workshop up and going then you know I'll be out there with you making some cool stuff. Love you man. Stop taking pictures of me sleeping though.

Luke Salgado

Groomsman

One of my two new brothers! Luke is always a hoot to be around. Its obvious too by the way he makes his friends, and I, smile all the time. He isn't just a good time though - Luke always helps his family and gives 110% on the football field. With a good heart and a lot of confidence, I bet he could take on the world and if he ever needed some help then I'll be there for him. Keep it cool, Luke.

Erick Salgado

Groomsman

My other new brother! Erick may not be as outspoken as his brother but he matches him easily in heart and in sport. He can box, play tennis, craft, and has a shrewd mind. Truthfully, I see a lot of myself in him and know that with his spirit and brains then he can accomplish ANYTHING he sets himself to. That being said, make sure not to play too many video games! You da man, Erick.

Dylan Townes

Groomsman

You know when they say opposites attract? Well that may actually be the defining quality of my relationship with Dylan Rex Townes. Although we grew up in similar childhoods we definitely ended up on opposite ends of the spectrum. While I'm typically a reserved person, Dylan is always pushing his boundaries getting to know people. And if I'm going to burn myself out trying make a single solution work to solve a problem he's probably already tried and tested a hundred other ones. So while I can't relate to him very often he definitely opens my eyes to many different ideas which is a quality I truly admire in him. I've seen him grow and change possibly more than anyone else I've met and I'm excited to see where life takes him. Never stop scanning my friend.

Harry Watson

Groomsman

One of my oldest friends, Harry Watson had a big impact on my childhood. He and his family were always inviting me out and teaching me so many new things - especially movies and music. In fact, Harry and I ended up playing cello together while we were in school! I was sad that we ended up going to different schools for college but I would knew I would never truly lose him as a good friend. Congrats on your own wedding to the wonderful Krissy!

Roy Landers

Groomsman

My brother-in-law, Roy Landers, is a force to be reckoned with. He is a man of conviction and persistence who will not stop to finish what he sets out to do. His love is fierce and aims to protect all those he loves. I hope that one day, I can have half the love you and my sister share. Also, Camdyn is the most wonderful child in the world and I hope one day Paola and I can have a kid as great as her!

Josh Waddell

Groomsman

One of my newer friends, Joshua Waddell is a person who I would never have met if it weren't for him meeting and eventually marrying one of my other good friends, Erin White. Josh always greets you with a big smile and warm heart. Throughout his relationship with Erin I have seen him grow and change into an even better man - something I hope to gain from my own blossoming from my own relationship with Paola. I have to admit though Josh: we're washed up. I think we may have to put down Riot's games haha.

Chris Lueking

Groomsman

Christopher Lueking is man you'll always want to have around. His kindness and intelligence puts him a notch (or two) above the rest! Combine that with his sense of humor, his thoughtfulness, and his care and it is no wonder at all why he was one of the first of my friends to get married. When I was a teenager, he and his family have also graciously hosted me for MANY weekends and for that I am eternally grateful. We gotta get together at the pool again one day for one last round of Aquabrawl before we get too old.
