All of the events will be at the home of Jimmy's parents, Mary & Jim Watkins. The fun will mostly be in the backyard (tents will be set up), including the back porch, arbor deck, and patio. The inside of the house will be open as well. In the event of rain, we will be inside the house or under the tents. But that's not gonna happen!
All events will be largely outside and the weather in Charlotte in May is variable. Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes for all events.
You can park on our street or any of the streets leading to it. We ask that you not park in the cul-de-sacs to make it easy for cars to turn around. Please be respectful of our neighbors' driveways as well. Thanks!
There are multiple hotels nearby at various price points. The closest will be in the town of Pineville or in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte. There are also many great Airbnb options as well. If you need more help or advice, reach out to Jimmy's mom, Mary, via text (704.651.8653).
YES!! All children are welcome, and we are excited to have them as part of our event. We plan to set up a small kid's area with a few toys, and all of the upstairs rooms are available for naps or early bedtimes if needed until the event ends.
