Justin and James became friends in high school where James tried his best to have them both fail the math class they were in together. Since then, whether it was James driving out to Allegheny college to do college-like activities when Justin was attending, Justin moving in with James in Chardon and moving down to Columbus together, or currently both of them visiting each other in Columbus or New York (mainly to eat or play basketball), they’ve remained as close as they were when they were playing video games and ping pong in Justin’s parents basement for hours on end.

Mimi met Esther in college around 2016. After complaining to her brother about struggling to make friends he informed her one of his former classmates would be transferring to BG and thought they’d get along well. Thankfully he was right! Mimi and Esther, better known as Pnutt have been, friends, neighbors, roommates and now bridesmaids to one another over the last 10 years. Bonding over music, getting involved in their community and a good margarita. The two have seen each other through a lot of phases in life and have remained close as ever.
