After taking a chance on their first “match” online, love grew quickly. A few dates in they both knew that they were inseparable and their lives soon melded together easily and comfortably. From there, they continued to grow; learning from, leaning on, and loving each other. A year later James proposed marriage in the cozy living room of Maire’s house, surrounded by flowers in the glow of candlelight. Their first year of engagement has been an exciting glimpse into the future as their love and lives together continue to grow and flourish in their first home together. Growing up, both Maire and James loved attending summer camps. Maire attended Camp Worship and Wonder at Pilgrim Park in Illinois. James spent his summers at Camp Seagull, where he learned to sail off the coast of North Carolina. James and Maire reminisce on their camp days together and can’t wait to make it official at their own camp themed wedding!
