We met at a brunch/lounge in Hollywood CA on a beautiful sunny Sunday!! We noticed each other smiled at one another, and then I quickly made my way over trampling over people along the way. I said hi and everything to me was quiet except for her reply. I noticed she was caring for a friend guiding her by the hand and looked kind of busy but did not want to be rude to me. She explained that she was looking for another friend who lets just say had a heavy hand earlier that day lol!! I asked if I can help in anyway she said sure but you don't have to, I smiled and said it would be my pleasure. She smiled back took me by the hand and we haven't stopped smiling since!!
After a few months of planning I decided her birthday would be the best way to hide the big question! I planned a day full of surprises starting with a beautiful sand sculpture that read " Maggie will you marry me?". After removing her blindfold and seeing her reaction there was not even one doubt in my heart, I knew she would say yes! We kissed, cried, laughed and truly recognized how blessed we both were. I placed the blindfold on her again and headed to where some of her close friends and family along with some of my friends and family were anxiously waiting to surprise Maggie for her birthday party (or at least they thought). It turned out to be our engagement announcement and her birthday celebration. Cheers to all until the wedding!!
Due to a family emergency we could not proceed with our prior scheduled date. Thanks to God, James’s mother is stable and we are able to celebrate our wedding. We are now married and have our precious son and want to celebrate this special day with all of you. We hope to see you. God Bless, The Alkhass Family
