What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive promptly at 12:30pm as we have a limited time at the chapel. There will be some group photos taken at the chapel and then the wedding party will be going to the Kangaroo Point Cliffs for some pre-reception photographs. Feel free to join us if you would like.

If I can't make it to the ceremony am I still able to see it?
Answer
YES! For all of our loved ones who can't make it to the ceremony, there will be live streaming available. The link will be available closer to the wedding date, so watch this space!!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Semi-Formal: Suits and gowns are welcome, and so are blazers and cocktail dresses, but feel free to get as dressed up and fancy as you want. After all, when was the last time you got all dolled up? :)

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is present enough. But if we’re honoured with a gift from you, may we respectfully request a gift of money to help the dream of owning our own home come true!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We politely request no children unless they are specifically invited. Our wedding is the perfect time to let your hair down and enjoy some child free fun.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
The bride and groom will staying at the Meriton Suites on Adelaide Street in Brisbane City and you are more than welcome to book a room there too. If not, there are plenty of reasonably priced hotels in the CBD.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
We will do everything we can to accommodate your requirements. Let us know what your dietary requirements are when you RSVP and we will pass it on to the event coordinator.

Can I take photos at your wedding?
Answer
We love to see photos and videos of you all enjoying yourselves, but please be respectful as we have decided on an unplugged ceremony. We have hired a photographer and videographer to capture the wonderful memories of the day. During the ceremony please keep your cameras and phones away. After the ceremony and at the reception take as many photos as you want and share them with the hashtag #jamesandmaddiewed. For those of you who love Snapchat, there will even be a personalised filter to use throughout the night :)

What about the bar?

There will be a cash bar available throughout the night with wine, beer, bubbly and soft drink all on offer.
