They don't call St. Louis the Rome of the Midwest for nothing. We think this is one of the most beautiful churches in the United States and it is where we got engaged. The Cathedral Basilica was built in 1914 after the city outgrew the original cathedral (where we are getting married). We believe any trip to St. Louis is incomplete without a stop at the Cathedral Basilica.

To all of our Cubs fans, please keep scrolling. To all of our White Sox fans, stay strong. To all of our Red Sox fans, this is a reminder that the Red Sox swept the Cardinals in the 2004 World Series and beat them again in 2013. To all of our Cardinals fans... do we know any Cardinals fans?
Visit the shops, restaurants, and bars along the cobblestone streets of Historic Downtown St. Charles. If you listen closely to the running waters of the Missouri River, you can still hear Lewis telling Clark that they should stop and ask for directions.
Eat Mor Chikin. Play Mor Pickleball.
Katy Trail runs along the former Missouri-Kansas-Texas rail line and offers great views of the Missouri River. Whether you are out for a bike ride, a jog, or don't quite remember why you left the house, this trail has something for everyone.
If you'd rather view St. Louis from the top of a wheel instead of the top of an arch this is the place for you. The St. Louis Wheel is located at the St. Louis Union Station, the largest train station in the world at its opening in 1894. Today, Union Station is home to the St. Louis Aquarium, mini golf, and countless restaurants and bars.
