Question

What time should I arrive and leave?

Answer

Anyone needed for the church rehearsal on Friday will be notified, otherwise we'd love you to join us at Cuckney House from 5pm onwards on Friday 23rd. We have the house till Monday morning and we'll all need to vacate by 10am.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We're really excited to celebrate with you, and have planned everything around making the most of spending time together, however on this occasion only those named on the invite are invited please.

Question

Should I bring anything?

Answer

All you'll need is yourselves, your finery and your dancing feet. All food and beverages for the weekend will be provided, if there's any dietary requirements you have please let one of us know.

Question

Do we need to book accomodation?

Answer

Accommodation at Cuckney House for the weekend has been covered. If you would like to contribute towards your stay, you are welcome to do so completely at your discretion but is absolutely not expected. Please get in touch with James or Lorna for more details.

Question

What shall I wear?

Answer

It's a weekend full of fun and the dress codes are as below, but we'd like to ask that everyone avoid white or cream for the weekend as Lorna has understandably called dibs. Friday No dress code for the rehearsal if you're needed, just something you'd feel comfortable wearing in church. For the Pizza Party Rehearsal Dinner, we're going for Italian summer holiday vibes — linens, floaty dresses, and anything that makes you feel good. The party starts here so feel free to dress up as much as you wish Saturday Black tie — black tuxedos with black bow ties for the gents, ankle or floor-length dresses for the ladies. We're skipping hats but hair accessories like combs or headbands are welcome. Basically, there's no such thing as overdressed. Sunday We'll be finishing off the weekend with garden games and a BBQ — no dress code, just something comfy for a chilled-out day in the garden. We've also made some mood boards if you'd like further inspiration - http://bit.ly/4bnodtw

Question

Can I bring my pet?

Answer

Unfortunately Cuckney House has a no animals policy so four-legged friends will have to stay at home.

Question

Which room am I in?

Answer

Good news is, there's no bad rooms at Cuckney House, everyone will have a lockable door with their own bathroom so there's as much privacy as you'd need. We're sorting rooms and will let you know when you arrive, any questions please let us know.

Question

Can we take and post photos?

Answer

We'll have a photographer capturing the day, so we'd love it if you could keep phones away during the ceremony — but after that, snap away! We'll set up a shared place for everyone to share photos. We'd also ask that no one posts photos of the bride or groom on social media before they have posted please.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking to the right side of the house, including electric charging points.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

We're going to be uploading a menu section of the site with full details for the weekend. The menu for our Saturday reception meal features seasonal, locally sourced dishes from the Welbeck Estate. If you have specific dietary concerns, please let us know.

Question

What about the w-e-a-t-h-e-r?

Answer

We're choosing to remain optimistic and NOT jinxing it - but Cuckney House is fully equipped for all eventualities.
