Leanne and Jamie met when they were both living in NYC in 2019. After 6 months of dating (and falling in love!) Jamie had to move back home to Ireland at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jamie and Leanne were determined to make their relationship work and quickly pivoted to a long distance relationship, sometimes spending several months apart and making due with Facetime dates and phone calls. Ever the optimists, Leanne and Jamie found there were benefits to this scenario by taking advantage of their situation to begin traveling frequently. First, around the whole country of Ireland and then onto major (and minor) European cities like Nice, Venice, Barcelona, Pisa, Paris, London and Monaco. Together, their relationship grew, as did their love of international travel. Today, Jamie and Leanne have finally closed the distance after four and a half years and live happily together in their apartment in Astoria Queens, in NYC!
