What is the dress code?

Guests are encouraged to wear earthy neutrals — like light brown, champagne, sage, and terracotta — with white reserved for the bride. Ladies: flowy, semi-formal dresses fit for the sand. Can I stay off-property?
Answer
Yes, you're welcome to stay elsewhere if you prefer! Just keep in mind: off-property guests can only access Hotel Xcaret during the wedding event and will need to depart once it ends. We highly encourage staying at Hotel Xcaret if you can

Can I bring guests or kids?

Children under 5 are welcome to attend at no additional cost. For plus-ones, we kindly ask that you only bring the guest listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out to Kristin or James — we’re happy to help!

Guests staying at Hotel Xcaret enjoy complimentary airport transfer to and from the airport as part of their all-inclusive package. If you’re staying elsewhere, we recommend the highly rated Happy Shuttle for a smooth and easy ride!

Our wedding ceremony will be held on the beach at Hotel Xcaret, surrounded by the beautiful ocean views. Following the ceremony, please join us for cocktails and a beachside reception at another stunning location within the resort.

What should I know about traveling to Mexico?

Make sure your passport is up-to-date — we recommend checking it a few months in advance! Staying at a resort is the safest and easiest option. No need to worry about currency if you're using a credit or debit card. If you'd like some cash, you can exchange currency at your local bank before your trip.
