In the waning hours of 2016, James pulled his friend Keely aside at the New Year’s Eve party she was hosting, and demanded to know why she had never mentioned to him before that her sister was a ‘Fox’. Kendra was in town visiting from California, stuck around for the party, and caught James' eye earlier that evening.

As is often the case, James & Kendra found themselves someplace beautiful in the Wasatch Mountains. This time, they had hiked and scrambled to the summit of 10,000 ft Mt. Raymond, which they had all to themselves. With no witnesses but nearby peaks, James seized the opportunity and popped the question.
