We met while we were both working at a Church Festival, I was working in the kitchen, and Jim was working as security. I saw him first and asked if any of the other ladies working knew him, they did not! But when he came up to get food I was not around, so the ladies told him that there was a girl interested in him. His reply was "Tell her to come up and talk to me." It took a few times walking by him until I had the courage and like they say.... the rest is history. And now we are excited to make a new memory in OUR hiSTORY!
Jim took me out for a Fancy birthday dinner at The Strip in Avon (So delicious!). We had a nice spot in the corner that was private and had no other guests at that time in our area. So when the waiter came to bring us our appetizer, Jim asked him to take a picture of us. He started to get up and come around the table (he nervously stumbled over a fan on his way), then when he got close I asked him "Do you want me to stand for the picture?". He said "No, I want you to sit right there and I'm going to kneel down (as he starts to kneel on one knee) ." He then asked me to Marry him and obviously I said YES!
