Chicago O’Hare is the closest airport to the cocktail reception site. You can also fly in and out of Midway International Airport which is about 40 minutes southwest of downtown and about an hour from the cocktail reception site.

Downtown Chicago hosts many famous and iconic hotels near historical, cultural, architectural, and culinary treasures. Those guests that would like to stay steps away from what Downtown Chicago has to offer are encouraged to find the right hotel and location that works for them.

Many of Chicago’s Western and Northwestern suburbs contain unique and charming downtown locations filed with shops, restaurants and art galleries. Park Ridge, Mt. Prospect and Arlington Heights are some of our favorites. Those guests that would like a more relaxed visit are encouraged to stay in and explore these small towns.

Those guests that are flying into and out of either O’Hare or Midway may want to consider the subway to downtown if staying in the City. The Blue Line runs to and from O’Hare. The Orange Line runs to and from Midway. Depending on traffic, the subway may be twice as fast as a taxi or Uber.

Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line
If staying downtown, Metra may be a perfect option for some guests. Guests riding the train from the downtown Ogilvie Transportation Center can get off the train at Mt. Prospect, Arlington Heights or Arlington Park and take a quick taxi or Uber ride to Cooper’s Hawk. Please note that on the weekends there are fewer train options so be sure to check the schedule to find a train that is right for you. In addition, Metra updates their schedules at the end of August and early September so be sure to access the right schedule. When purchasing tickets ask if the weekend pass unlimited ride is right for you.
