FAQs

Question

What airport should I fly in and out of to attend the wedding?

Answer

If you plan on renting a car, you can fly into Newark Liberty International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, or John F. Kennedy International Airport. If you do not plan on renting a car, Newark Liberty International Airport or John F. Kennedy International Airport will allow you to easily get to Grand Central Station, where you can transfer to the Metro North. New York Stewart International Airport is the closest airport to the wedding venue, however, it is a smaller airport that does not have many flights, and will require you to rent a car.

Question

How can I get to the wedding?

Answer

Public transit within the Hudson Valley is limited. In order to get to the Hudson Valley from New York City, you can take the Metro North Hudson Line from Grand Central Station to the Hudson Valley (Peekskill, Garrison, Cold Springs, or Beacon). At that point, you will need to take a taxi (or Uber / Lyft) to the venue. If you choose to rent a car, you will have the most freedom of movement.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

The Hudson Valley has limited public transit options. If you choose to rent a car, you will have the most freedom of movement. If you plan on exploring some of the locations within the "Things to Do" section, a car will be necessary. However, if you intend on attending just the weddings events, a car will not be necessary.

Question

I have some free time before or after the wedding; what should I do?
