We met on a completely normal day that turned out to be anything but normal. After a long day of back to back classes, a few friends convinced us to go out for karaoke. Neither of us expected much, but somehow we both ended up on stage singing “I’d Do Anything for Love.” He took the low notes, I took the high ones, and somewhere in between the laughs, the missed lyrics, and the fist bumps from our friends, something just clicked. We harmonized by accident, looked at each other, and both had the same thought. This might actually be the start of something special.

Over the years, what started as a fun karaoke night turned into something so much deeper. We went through late night talks, road trips, quiet dinners, and all the little moments in between that slowly built a life together. One evening while talking about our future, the conversation shifted from “someday” to “why not us?” It wasn’t one big dramatic moment, but rather a quiet realization that we had already found the person we wanted to share everything with. Not long after, during a simple evening together, he asked the question that had been on both of our hearts. Of course the answer was yes, and from that moment on we knew the next chapter of our story would be forever together. 💍
