Say “Yea Mon” with The Sullivans

Well, let’s start with Facebook is good for more than catching up with old classmates! James and Ikea met in a Pandemic via Facebook Dating site. They met 4 weeks before Christmas of 2020 and spent their first date decorating a tree. They would be what some would call “COVID Baes”. In January Ikea was set to go to Tulum, Mexico for her birthday by herself, and James decided that he would go. If you know Ikea she is adventurous and sometimes dangerous Ikea was unaware that James didn’t share her same love for nature and water. In a desperate attempt to save face James decided to join Ikea in a Cave dive and she quickly found out that not only could James not swim but he was not a water person. Ha! He was a great trooper they took pictures (as seen in gallery) and got a crash course in learning what you would do for Love! From how they met, the state of the World, or their differences nothing came easy, the only thing that held constant was the focus on communication between the two and the love they shared. They shared many moments from deciding to move in together in 2022 having a loving child, playfully known as J3, and much more. But the fairytale came with its own twist, in 2021 James was diagnosed with Chronic Heart Failure after healing from COVID-19. The two did their best to combat the illness but by 2023 James was back in the hospital, and after a long journey he received a new Heart and Kidney Transplant.
