The Wedding Website of James Holder and Hazel Barker
Question

How big is the wedding?

Answer

Treseren is an intimate wedding venue in Cornwall that specialises in small weddings that are big on style. There will be a maximum of 22 of us on the day, but a micro wedding can certainly deliver maximum fun.

Question

Can I bring a plus one, are children invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to guest number constraints, we are unable to accommodate anyone not invited by name; This includes plus ones and children.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please see the "Schedule" page for arrival time.

Question

What will the weather be like - are we inside or outside?

Answer

We can't predict the weather, but there's a good chance both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside in Treseren's beautiful gardens. With a mixture of grass and patio under foot. The wedding breakfast and evening music will be held inside the Treseren house.

Question

What should I wear, can I wear white?

Answer

Please do not wear white to the wedding. For full comentary and mood boards depicting the dress code, please see the "Dress Code" page.

Question

When will the wedding day party end?

Answer

Suggested time for booking taxis home would be 11:30pm onwards.

Question

What's happening on Sunday?

Answer

As we have exclusive use of the Treseren property and gardens for the entire weekend, let's keep the celebrations going. We're hoping the sun shines down, and we'll be having a catered BBQ in the garden (thankfully there is sufficient cover outside to protect from all weathers). The bar will not be open, so it's bring your own booze. We will have a selection of cider and beer available for everyone. Dress code: casual attire; Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

Question

Where can I get a drink?

Answer

Alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the day. Welcome drinks and drinks with the wedding breakfast will be provided. Whether you want to enjoy a classic Cornish gin and tonic, or explore the cocktail list, Treseren's "Loveday's Cocktail Bar" will be staffed on the Saturday accepting cash and card.

Question

Can I choose my meal / what will I be eating?

Answer

When RSVPing, please ensure you list any dietary requirements. We are currently working with our talented chef, Natasha, to create delicious canapes, and a 3-ocourse, sit down wedding breakfast menu. We hope to be able to offer a choice of menu, and will request your choice in advance of the wedding, closer to the time.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Please do not take photos during the wedding ceremony. We have an incredibly talented photographer Sofie and her assistant on the day who will capture the magic (and mayhem).

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Please see the "Registry & Gifts" page for details.
