Grace and James met in typical Millennial fashion, on a dating app. They swiped right in April of 2020, the peak of the Covid era when Florida was still on lockdown. After messaging each other for over a month and when the lockdown had ended, Grace who had exhausted her patience by then, messaged James: "You know we've been talking for over a month now right?" James promptly asked her out for a date downtown that weekend and they have not been back on the apps since.
