The Bridge is a must see. The park even has a wildlife center where you can see bears, otters and much more. Make sure you make a reservation for the mountain they are doing timed entrees due to covid.

Foggy Mountain Gem Mine

Have done another gem mine in blowing rock and it’s a lot of fun even for adults.

Mystery Hill

Mystery hill has a lot to offer from exploring the mystery of gravity to hatchet throwing learning local history and shooting a bow and arrow.

Tweetsie Railroad

Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster

We have not done this yet. We drove past it one day and decided to check it out. It looks like a lot of fun for all ages. Make sure to make a reservation online though because they are always busy. Update: We have been on this coaster and prepare to have fun. Everyone that went with us walked away talking about it and wanting to come back. So much fun we all rode it 3 times. Prepare to wait even if you get a reservation.

Blue Ridge Parkway

Blue Ridge parkway is a beautiful drive twisting and turning with several overlooks and picnic areas. The parkway runs around Boone and several towns in the area. It’s a possibility that parts of the parkway may be closed due to weather conditions.
