Question

Getting Around: Uber or Car Rental?

Answer

We recommend guests book or share a car of their own for ease of mobility, however, there are some important things to note: we drive on the left side of the road, and manual transmission vehicles will be the default/cheapest car options. Automatic vehicles are absolutely available, but ensure you check this when you make your bookings! Uber: For those who would prefer not to rent a car, Uber is available and abundant in the metro areas of South Africa. Do not consider trains or regular taxis!

Question

Accommodations: More Details on Where To Stay!

Answer

Please check the travel page for additional information and specific places. For the most immersed and authentic experience of Cape Town, we strongly recommend staying in a villa or AirBnB, whether you prefer to stay as a couple or as a group. For that reason, we have chosen not to do a specific hotel block - though we can absolutely share some wonderful hotel ideas if that is your preference.

Question

Travel: Visa, Passport, Vaccines or Other Requirements?

Answer

Passport Validity: 30 days beyond your intended date of exit from South Africa.. Passport Blank Pages: 2 consecutive empty visa pages per entry (not including endorsement pages). Visa: No, if visiting 90 days or less. Vaccinations: Not required

Question

Getting There: Flying and More Details

Answer

For those traveling to the wedding only, the airport is Cape Town International Airport (CPT), and approximately 30 mins from the center of Cape Town/main suburbs. Flights from the US: There are a multitude of flight options that will get you through to CPT. Our preferred direct flights are Delta (from ATL) or United (from EWR), but there are also great options via Europe/Dubai.
