When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP online via the "RSVP" page by Friday, June 26, 2026.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins at 4:00 pm to have time to grab a drink and find your seat! Please do not arrive earlier than 3:30 pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear garden party cocktail attire! Think tea-length dresses, jumpsuits, light-fabric suits, or dress shirts and slacks. Please refrain from wearing white and jeans. The Maples is an outdoor venue, primarily on grass, so stilettos are not recommended. It will be warm in the afternoon but may cool down in the evening, so please plan ahead!

Can I bring a date?

Your invitation is addressed to all guests. If you have a plus-one, it reads "and Guest." We are sorry we cannot accommodate everyone!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! Families with invitations that read "The Last Name Family," are welcome to bring children. There are indoor areas at The Maples for anyone who needs to breastfeed or children who are having a difficult time sitting still!

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes! The Maples has free self-parking for guests driving themselves.

Do you have hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Travel" page for various booking options in Davis and Sacramento. These blocks have a limited number of rooms available, so please book early! Please use the links on this page to book, rather than visiting the hotel's website directly, to ensure the discount code populates correctly.
