We met in our eighth grade year of middle school, where we quickly decided we were meant to be. Our first date was at the Roxy Movie Theater in Newport. As per usual with middle school relationships, we were incredibly awkward. As we went on more dates we began to open up, however we had only made it to five dates and four months before COVID-19. Over the course of that year our only contact was through FaceTime and our dates were spent playing Minecraft. Despite our small amount of time spent together in person our flames did not dull. When we were finally able to be with each other again the time began to fly by. We competed in track together throughout high school, and we both remained active in our school and community. During our junior year of high school we decided to apply to Washington State University together. After graduating high school we went on a date to sweet creek falls where, after months of preparation, I told Emma, "I can't think of better way to spend my life than with you." After so many firsts together I cannot wait to spend all of my lasts with Emmalia.
