We appreciate the effort everyone is making to celebrate with us in Hawaii. Since your travel and time mean so much to us, we kindly request no additional gifts.
In October, the average daytime highs are in the mid-80s °F (mid-20s °C) and comfortable overnight lows around 70° to 75° °F (21°C to 24°C). We strongly recommend wearing and regularly reapplying SPF, a hat, a UPF shirt for hiking or as a coverup, or a loose long-sleeve shirt to the beach. You will want light, breathable clothing, slippers (flip flops, but they're slippers in Hawaii), sandals, and shoes for hiking.
If you'd like help planning solo adventures for different beaches, hikes, activities, or places to eat than what we've shared, please reach out to us!
Car rentals at the airport are more expensive! We recommend using the Hertz at the Hyatt in Waikiki, Enterprise in Kailua, or the Enterprise near Ala Moana mall.
