Question

What's the plan for the weekend?

Answer

We're looking forward to spending a few relaxing days with you all in a beautiful place! If you're in town Thursday evening, you're welcome to join us for dinner at our favorite local restaurant. After dinner, the ladies will split off for one last girls' night with Liz. On Friday, we plan to enjoy being outside with our guys and girls either hiking, boating on Lake Glenville, or hitting the links of Trillium. These activities will depend on the weather, so pray for sunshine and bring your gear! We won't really need to rehearse much, so next up will be dinner Friday night. The ceremony will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, followed by some pictures, then the reception at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully we will have some football and baseball to enjoy throughout the evening! Finally, we would love to tell you all goodbye on Sunday morning! This is where all we will be, but we also hope this a mini vacation for you, so relax and take advantage of not having a strict agenda for a few days!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We're hoping this is a vacation for you, so wear whatever you are comfortable in all weekend! Dinner on Friday night will be outside, so choose your shoes accordingly and maybe bring a light jacket. We consider everyone attending part of our "wedding party," so we would love to get photographer photos with each of you after the ceremony. We think these would look great if everyone is wearing black or gray, but if you don't have either color in your closet, just wear whatever makes you feel good!

Question

How is cell service in the area?

Answer

NOT GOOD. We're not going to sugar coat this at all. The mountains are lovely, but not ideal for phone calls or accessing the internet. Please make sure to save directions to your accommodations and the venue BEFORE you leave civilization. You lose service quickly on the drive into the area, and we want to make sure everyone arrives safely, especially if traveling later on Thursday evening. WiFi and 2-way radios will be our friends once we are all inside our Trillium homes! Text messages seem to be more effective than calls if you need to reach us. Once you arrive, hopefully this will not be too much of an inconvenience. We are looking forward to disconnecting a little bit and enjoying the face-to-face time with OUR PEOPLE!

Question

What do I need to know about the venue?

Answer

Our personal opinion is that IT'S BEAUTIFUL! But check it out for yourself: www.trilliumnc.com
