We’re getting married!

Our tale begins as a modern love story! One day I (Diana) was flying back to San Diego when a flight attendant slipped me a note on a napkin. It said “Hi my name is James and I’m one of your pilots on this flight. I saw you board the flight and thought you were too beautiful not to talk to. When we land, hang around for a little and I’d love to get your number.” …just kidding! We met on hinge 💕 I have minimal recolection of who said what first but I do remember James telling me he had traveled to Tonga and we both laughed about how kangaroos can’t jump backwards. For our first date, James took me to get Thai food. I was struck by how easy the conversation flowed and how at peace I felt even though I had shown up so nervous. After dinner, I took James to my favorite dive bar, which happens to be a Lions bar (his favorite team), and of course it was closed! But we ended up walking across the street to go somewhere else because neither of us wanted the night to end ☺️. At one point during the night James had to move his car and he asked if I wanted to move the shifter since I had never learned how to drive stick shift. Later on he told me he did that so he could hold my hand on the shifter while I was learning.
