Where are the reception and ceremony taking place?

Answer

The Ceremony will be at the First Congregational Church of Rockport 12 School St. Rockport, MA 01966 and our Cocktail Hour and Reception will be at the Cruiseport 6 Rowe Sq #3057, Gloucester, MA 01930.

Where do we board the boat for Cocktail Hour and is the boat ride mandatory?

Answer

Guest will board the boat for Cocktail Hour at the reception venue, The Cruiseport. Guest will enter in the front of the venue and the event staff will take you to the boarding area. The boat ride is not mandatory. If you choose to stay on land, there will be drinks and passed apps provided.

Will there be parking for Guest?

Yes! There will be parking provided for all guest at the church and venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. Please plan to arrive at the church between 2:30pm-2:45pm.

What should we do during the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour/Reception Break?

Answer

There will be about a 2 hour - 1 hour 45 min break between our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour/Reception to allow for wedding party and immediate family photos. Please feel free to go check into your hotel rooms if you haven't already or freshen up! If you would like to drive right to the Cruiseport, there is a restaurant attached called the Seaport Bar and Grill, feel free to enjoy a cocktail! Please make sure to be at the Cruiseport between 5:00-5:15pm to board the boat. Boat boarding will end at 5:30pm.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Formal attire includes floor length gowns or sophisticated cocktail dresses for the ladies and a suit and tie, color of choice for the gentlemen.
