The Ceremony will be at the First Congregational Church of Rockport 12 School St. Rockport, MA 01966 and our Cocktail Hour and Reception will be at the Cruiseport 6 Rowe Sq #3057, Gloucester, MA 01930.
Guest will board the boat for Cocktail Hour at the reception venue, The Cruiseport. Guest will enter in the front of the venue and the event staff will take you to the boarding area. The boat ride is not mandatory. If you choose to stay on land, there will be drinks and passed apps provided.
Church Transportation & Parking Shuttles will depart from the Beauport Hotel and Rockport Inn & Suites at 2:30 PM for the church. Guests staying at nearby hotels or Airbnbs are welcome to use these shuttles. If you plan to drive, please arrive by 2:30 PM, as parking in downtown Rockport may be limited during the busy summer season. Allowing extra time will help ensure you are seated before the ceremony begins. After the Ceremony Shuttles will be waiting outside the church to transport guests to the Beauport Hotel and downtown Gloucester. The Cruiseport Parking: Ample parking will be available in the Cruiseport parking lot. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles overnight if needed.
Our Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. Please plan to arrive at the church between 2:30pm-2:45pm.
There will be a 1.5-hour break between the ceremony and cocktail hour while immediate family and the wedding party take photos. During this time, we encourage guests to explore downtown Gloucester, enjoy the waterfront, grab a drink, or relax at the Beauport Hotel lobby bar. Please note that guests will be responsible for their own transportation to Cruiseport Gloucester for cocktail hour and the reception. The venue is located approximately 1 mile from downtown Gloucester and the Beauport Hotel. Kindly note that boat boarding will take place at 5:30pm.
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Formal attire includes floor length gowns or sophisticated cocktail dresses for the ladies and a suit and tie, color of choice for the gentlemen.
