We met online six years ago, in what seemed like an ordinary moment—but from the very beginning, it felt anything but. There was an instant spark, a sense that something special was unfolding. We matched, started talking, and quickly realized how rare it was to find someone who could talk just as much as the other in meaningful deeper conversations. Conversation came easily, laughter followed naturally, and a few wonderful dates confirmed that something meaningful was growing. Then, like it did for the rest of the world, life suddenly paused. COVID arrived, everything shut down, and timing no longer felt on our side. With uncertainty ahead, we went our separate ways, not knowing what the future might hold. Until Mother’s Day 2024. Out of the blue, a message brought us back together—and it felt as though no time had passed at all. We picked up right where we left off, leading to a four-hour lunch date that neither of us wanted to end. Sitting across from each other felt like finding our best friend again, where the rest of the world faded away and nothing mattered except the conversation, the laughter, and the comfort we felt together. There was an undeniable sense of peace—of safety, familiarity, and deep knowing. The kind that settles in your heart and quietly says, this is your person. Having both walked through difficult and traumatic chapters before, we recognized that this reunion was no coincidence. God’s timing was perfect. He had a plan all along—one that brought our paths back together exactly when we were ready. We both knew it was meant to be and we'd get married early on. And as they say, the rest is history. From that moment on, we have been inseparable—grateful for the journey, the lessons, and the love that led us home to each other.
