Question

How soon should we book our trip?

Answer

We recommend booking as far in advance as possible. Cancun resorts can fill-up quickly.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

No, we have chosen not to have a registry. We request your attendance at our wedding in place of gifts.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. The resort has many food options and can accommodate. Please let us know and we'll notify the wedding coordination team.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Minors under 18 may only attend the ceremony and must leave when it's over. Please notify us if you intend to bring children.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please reserve your room with Hyatt Zilara. Only guests staying at our resort may attend the wedding and corresponding events. If you absolutely cannot stay at Hyatt Zilara, please let us know.

Question

Is there a wedding discount code?

Answer

No, there are no special rates or other discounts offered.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be "beach formal" - dress to impress, but also dress for the elements (sun, sand, and water). The ceremony will take-place in an open-air gazebo overlooking a private beach on the Gulf-of-Mexicco and Caribbean Sea.

Question

Is Cancún Safe?

Answer

Yes! Hyatt Zilara is located in the "Hotel Zone" which is a long narrow beach with dozens of mega-resorts one after the other. There are frequent police patrols on the beach and the streets just like at home. We have been to Cancun a few times and never felt unsafe whatsoever.
